The mistake most people make with a short Goan weekend is treating it like a checklist. Two nights is plenty — but only if you pick one coast and stay on it.
Friday
Arrive late, eat late. The kitchen runs past eleven, and the walk to the water takes four minutes.
Saturday
Breakfast slowly. The beach is quietest before nine and after four; the middle of the day is for the pool and the shade.
Sunday
Leave after lunch, not before. The road is emptier and you will have had one more swim.
